No, I do not sign contracts with clients.

For the construction industry, I recommend starting at $750/month per platform.

Think of it this way, if you’re selling a high-ticket service that would cost a client thousands of dollars, you can’t expect to pay the bare minimum to get such clients.

Keep in mind that your ads budget can always be adjusted according to your lows and highs.

Pairing SEO with Pay Per Click Advertising and Social Media Advertising is a winning formula to increase traffic and leads to your construction business on an ongoing basis.

Social media ads are a profitable and versatile advertising channel that give you the flexibility to build specific campaigns on social media to meet a selection of different goals, at a low cost.

In order to run social media ads, you need to set up a Facebook Meta Suite account which connects your Facebook & Instagram profiles under one roof. You have greater control and customization options when setting up these ads (think Google Ads).

With boosted posts, you’re just selecting a post from your profile and giving it a financial boost so that it’s shown to more people. There are many limitations when selecting your desired audience and often enough, the costs are a tad higher than social ads.

I recommend using both methods to help increase your follower count and to drive traffic to your website.

I, I don’t offer free trial periods as setting up campaigns take a lot of time and resources. Imagine a customer asking you to demolish a wall for free, and only then they’ll decide whether to choose you for their project. I’m a small business and can’t afford to take on free work.

For marketing agencies that do offer free trial runs, be wary as they may be using the same templates for all accounts, whereas I start from scratch with each client.

Word of mouth will get you business, but how long can you rely on this channel for? Having an ongoing digital strategy prepares you for the long-run and will help to fill in your sales pipeline when you’re not getting any leads by word-of-mouth. I encourage construction companies to pair digital marketing practices with word-of-mouth.

I tend to fall in the middle when compared to my competitors without compromising quality and value.

It’s hard to find concrete statistics online that state how much the construction industry can expect to pay for a click with search ads. Of course, these numbers would also differ for residential versus commercial construction.

However, based on my experience working with the residential construction industry, $4-12/click is what I’ve come across, varied by service promoted. Services such as demolition, concrete finishing, roofing tend to be on the higher end. My job is to find high volume, low competition keywords to decrease that cost per click.

SEO’s main objective is to improve your search ranking position in search engines like Google or Bing. The main focus of Search Engine Optimization is to generate ongoing organic traffic by implementing holistic SEO tactics. Google uses over 200 factors to analyze your online reputation so a good SEO strategist needs to be up-to-date with the latest algorithm updates for your site to rank well.

Pay per click (PPC) advertising focuses on advertising your website by paying a certain amount of money for specific keywords, or in other words, the search terms that people use when looking for your services. How much you pay determines where your ads show up. A good PPC strategist will find high-volume, low-competition keywords for you to rank for so that your ad will appear at the top of search results.

While both methods are effective, it takes time for a business to see results with SEO whereas with PPC, you can see results right away. SEO is a much more cost-effective solution in the long-run which is why we recommend both SEO and PPC advertising for businesses who are looking for a higher ROI.
